Harmonia is the free chores and rewards app for children aged 5 to 14, built in Brussels by two parents who lived the same complicated mornings you do.
Why Harmonia exists
Harmonia was born in a family whose kids' brains work a little differently. Long lists of instructions did not work, and neither did repeated reminders. What worked: short lists, a steady rhythm, visible wins and no guilt on the off days.
The app applies those principles for the whole family: visual morning and evening routines, tasks the child ticks off themselves and rewards chosen together. The free plan is complete, with no limit on children, tasks or rewards, and no ads.
Harmonia is not a medical device and does not replace professional support. It is an everyday tool, designed to make days more predictable and calmer.
Who builds Harmonia
Sébastien Balieu, co-founder, develops the app and writes the Journal articles. A dad, he first built Harmonia for his own children before turning it into an app for every family.
Sophie, co-founder, builds Harmonia with him. Their children are the first testers of every new feature: what does not work at home does not ship.
How the Journal is written
- Articles are written by Sébastien, drawing on his experience as a parent and on feedback from families who use Harmonia.
- When a topic touches on children's health or development, we cite recognized institutional sources such as the American Academy of Pediatrics or the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, with their date.
- We make no medical claims. For anything involving diagnosis or treatment, a health professional remains the reference.
- Every article shows its publication date and its last update date. If you spot a mistake, write to hello@withharmonia.com: we correct it and date the correction.
The company
- Harmonia is published by One More Pixel SComm, a company based in Brussels (VAT BE0666475419).
- Data is hosted in the European Union, in line with the GDPR, with no targeted advertising and no data sales.
- A real person reads every message sent to hello@withharmonia.com and replies within 24 business hours.
